1. Who is responsible?

2. What information do we process?

When you visit, technical data such as IP address, time, browser type and requested pages may be processed by hosting and security services. This supports delivery, security and troubleshooting. Where these data are personal, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).

With your voluntary consent, we use Base44 analytics. This may record page views, time, analytics session, referrer and clicks on booking, treatments and contact options. We use this to understand and improve our website. The legal basis is consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).

You can use the website without consenting. Optional analytics remain disabled until you allow them. For necessary requests, such as loading prices and opening hours, Base44 uses a temporary anonymous API identifier kept in memory only while the page is open. It is not stored persistently without analytics consent.

3. Cookies and local storage

Your browser stores a local record of your privacy choice so we can respect it without prompting at every page view. We currently do not implement Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking or Meta Pixel on this website.

The hosting platform may also use strictly necessary security and session mechanisms. This list covers features controlled in our own site code; technical platform storage is kept under review.

4. Your choice and withdrawal

On your first visit, you can allow or reject optional analytics with equally accessible options. Change your decision at any time via “Analytics settings” in the footer or the button below. Withdrawal stops future consent-based analytics and starts a new website session without analytics. You will be asked again no later than 180 days or following a material change.

5. Google Maps and other services

The interactive Google Maps map does not load automatically. Only if you select “Show interactive map” is a connection made to Google, which may then process visit information and use its own cookies. Please see Google’s privacy notice for further information. Links to Google, social platforms and Fixit lead to external services with their own privacy terms. Booking is completed on Fixit, not magicbarbers.no.

6. Providers and international transfers

The website is hosted through Base44, which also handles data for optional analytics. Google provides the interactive map after you choose to open it. We do not run our own Google Ads or Meta Pixel tracking here. Any processors, subprocessors and transfers outside the EEA must be covered by appropriate processing arrangements and legal safeguards. Contact us for the most current details of recipients and safeguards.

7. Retention

Your consent choice is stored locally for up to 180 days before you must choose again. The local analytics identifier is removed when you withdraw consent. Hosting logs and analytics events are kept by suppliers according to their applicable retention practices. Exact periods for these have yet to be confirmed with Base44 and should not be considered specified in this notice. Contact us for more information about retention and deletion.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Contact Magic Barbers using the details above. 9. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the site’s data practices change or the law requires it. Material changes to consent-based analytics will require a new choice.
